GENERAL SURGERY
The surgical department commenced as one of the basic units right from the beginning of Christu Raj Hospital. This department is a boon to the poor and needy patients requiring surgical care and procedures at an affordable cost. It has facilities to undertake all the general major and minor surgical procedures both elective and emergency.
Dr. Rajamohan M.S. (General surgery) graduated from Calicut Medical College is heading the department since its inception.

OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY
This department is rendering splendid service to the needy obstetric patients reaching from far and wide for obstetric care and assistance. Management of obstetrics is the mainstay of the department. Obstetrics and Gynaecology department takes care of the Gynaecological problems of all age groups from adolescents to elderly. With two dedicated senior Gynaecologists, this division has brought acclaim to the hospital in ensuring ethical care. Round the clock indoor facilities are available in the unit. This department has a well equipped labour room to look after all normal cases and an intensive section to tackle all high risk pregnancies .The unit is always prepared to accept references from all the surrounding hospitals.

PEDIATRICS
The department has a specialized team that includes a pediatrician, pediatric nurses, nursing students, social worker committed to provide state of the art pediatric care. It provides comprehensive management of health problems of neonates and children especially skilled nursing of very low-birth weight babies with exceptional clinical success rate. The team includes a specialist, a resident officer, and 10 highly skilled nurses and nursing students from Christu Raj School of Nursing. Care is provided under a dedicated team led by Dr. Jayakrishnan DCH.
The unit uses highly advanced medical equipments which include neonatal ventilators, incubators, radiant warmers, pulse oximeter, infusion pumps, etc. Support services are rendered by specialists including cardiologist, orthopedist, and clinical psychiatrist. The department facilitates care for the neonates with over 20 beds, Pediatric ICU with 20 beds, and the ward has another 35 beds to cater to various treatment requirements of pediatric inpatients. The unit here is a secondary level referral center and the quality service available here has the warmth of personalized care.

PSYCHIATRY
Department of Psychiatry is dedicated to provide compassionate and effective care to all age groups with Psychological and Psychiatric problem including mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse and schizophrenia.

ORTHOPEDICS

The department of Anaesthesiology and critical care medicine imparts consultation to referring Physicians in all systems of Anaesthesia and critical care as well as chronic and acute pain relieving modalities. This unit is opulent with trained and experienced team steered by Dr. Devendra Naik. The salient features are latest Anaesthesia equipments, multiparameter monitoring systems and attached post operative ICU providing ventilator care. This department takes care of Obstetric, post operative and palliative analgesia.

PHARMACY
Christu Raj Hospital maintains an effectively managed Pharmacy. This wing functions day and night for the benefit of all those who involved in patient care. A wide range of drugs are stored in the pharmacy and the prime concern of that is to support the patients in cost effective and affordable manner. The department is always on the alert against spurious medicines, and there is no compromise at any level. The department is keen on keeping up the goals like maximum patient care, patient education, quality service and adverse drug monitoring. The unit adopts strict control and stringent policies and procedures for the purchase, stock maintenance and distribution of narcotic drugs.
